Connected Warrior Foundation
We are proud to have partnered with the Connected Warrior Foundation (CWF) in support of the Never Quit Challenge. CWF has led various fundraisers on behalf of the Feeks Family in honor of S01 Patrick Feeks. The Feeks family has championed for public awareness of Veterans causes and CWF is hosting the NQC fundraiser stop in Virginia Beach, Virginia. CWF has been a friend to the Feeks Family and to other Veterans who need America's support. Now that the war effort is winding down its time to take care of our homefront. Please join CWF in the community outreach.

CWF will be raising funds in Viriginia Beach in partnership with the Never Quit Challenge as a host charity for the September 9th 2013 Stage Four Fundraising stop along the 1,600 mile offshore route.

About the Connected Warrior Foundation (CWF)
CWF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to supporting veterans with physical and invisible wounds with innovative technology and community programs that connects them to their family, friends and the world.
A tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization, the Connected Warrior Foundation (CWF) was founded in Maryland in 2012. The charter of the Foundation is to fund programs and support activities that successfully empower wounded veterans, improving their quality of life by keeping them connected to their families, friends, community and the world.
It is the CWF’s intention to continue to support wounded vets by raising awareness and support through such means as technology (existing as well as innovative), events, blogs, resources and community outreach. With the generous contributions of individual donors and in partnership with Google, Inc. and Amazon.com, CWF delivers Android devices such as Kindle Fire and Nexus tablet computer reading and web devices to wounded veterans at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, San Antonio Military Medical Center in TX and Freedom Station in San Diego, CA. The aim of the Foundation is connection—both human and technological—and the provision of much-needed support and resources.
Connected Warrior Foundation serves veterans—whether newly-injured or on the path to recovery over an extended period of time—who have suffered severe physical and/or emotional ‘invisible’ wounds (PTSD) received during the course of combat in Iraq or Afghanistan post 9/11 on behalf of the United States of America.
Programs:
Operation Google Gadgets
We are partnering with Google, Inc. to ensure that every single physically wounded combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan post 9/11 receives a Google Nexus tablet device for their use.
Operation Feeks’ Fires & 7s
Established in honor of Navy SEAL Special Warfare Operator Petty Officer 1st Class Patrick Feeks who was killed in action in Afghanistan on August 16, 2012, these programs provides Kindle Fires and Nexus 7 tablet computer reading and web devices to combat veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan post 9/11 with invisible wounds (PTSD).
Connected Warrior/CRAB Sailing Team:
In partnership with Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating, Inc. (CRAB) through CRAB’s new Wounded Warrior Sailing Squadron initiative, CWF is forming a sailing team of wounded veterans that will compete in several regattas and clinics in 2013. The CWF Sailing Team program engages our warriors to embrace the Corinthian spirit and build their confidence through sailing. Team members, all of whom have served honorably in combat in Afghanistan or Iraq post 9/11, suffer from a wide range of injuries, both physical and emotional. The intention of the program encourages vets to overcome any sense of limitation from their injuries and incites them to regain the sense of camaraderie they experienced during their military service. Sailing is a therapeutic outlet that connects participants with nature and allows them to harness its power to achieve a cohesive goal.
