NEVER QUIT CHALLENGE
A Personal Water Craft Adventure to benefit select Veteran supported Charities. The Never Quit Challenge is an Invitational Personal Water Craft Adventure vetted by Special Operations Military Veteran teams onboard Kawasaki Ultra LX JET SKI®. This is a Sea and Land adventure ride.
The Never Quit Challenge is not open for participation to the general public, it is a private charity ride for military personnel only. We do appreciate your support in donating to the cause. You will discover there are many ways for your to contribute financially, and we hope you will partner with us in taking care of our Nation's Veterans and their families. An ‘Invitational Only’ Personal Water Craft Challenge vetted by military Veterans on board Kawasaki JET SKIs.
Kawasaki Motors Corporation USA is supporting the NQC with the following personal watercraft:
8 Ultra LX JET SKI® models
Operators will meet in Morro Bay, California on September 7th for orientation and equipment set up. Operators will be comprised of combat warriors and will provide ground support and rider exchanges at key refueling points. Operators will ride a minimum of 4-8 hours per day. Operators will deploy each morning at sunrise.
Operators will be carrying all Federal and State required emergency and signaling gear and will be hosted with a tracking page for viewers to watch their progress.
Operators will ride on behalf of four Never Quit Challenge select charities and will be raising funds donated by supporters through a crowdrise fundraising.
Approximately 600 miles of open water transits including fuel stops. Operators will be running the Southern and Central California Coast stopping at select locations.
Transit: Morro Bay, to San Diego, California and out to sea to the Channel Islands and back - U.S.A.
Timeline: 4 days on water
Staging in Morro Bay, California on September 7th, 2014
Departure: September 8th, 2014
Completion: September 11, 2014
